The extra penny happens because of a rounding difference between the two systems. One software calculates tax for every individual item, while the other rounds only at the very end. When these two different math methods meet during an import, it creates that $0.01 discrepancy.
To fix this, check the rounding settings in your booking software. Make sure they match how QuickBooks handles line items.
If the mismatch continues after you've adjusted your settings, you can contact our Live Support Team. They can look at how your specific software integrates with QuickBooks and see if a rounding account is needed to balance those pennies.
To reach them, go to the (?) Help icon > Contact Us > enter a brief description of your concern and click Continue > Choose how you would like to connect with them.
