I cannot see a way to easily see what purchase orders have been created. There is no button under expenses and bills. I've tried searching but nothing comes up.

Hi there, Jenny. Once you’ve created a Purchase Order in QuickBooks Online, it is tracked as a non-posting transaction until it is converted into an expense or bill.

Here’s how to locate your Purchase Orders:

  1. On the left side of your screen, go to All apps.
  2. Under Expenses & Bills, click Expense transactions.
  3. In the All transactions drop-down, select Purchase order.

If you don't see Purchase Order in the filter menu, the feature may be disabled. Follow these steps to turn it on:

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. Under Your Company, select Account and Settings.
  3. Choose the Expenses tab.
  4. Click the Purchase orders section to expand it.
  5. Toggle the Use purchase orders switch to On.
  6. Click Save, then Done.
