Question

Timesheets are being overridden and lost

We import/sync timesheets from our staffing system into QBO/Keypay.  Sometimes staff (or management) have to add timesheets manually to QBO/timesheets.  When we have done this and approved those timesheets they are ready for a payrun.  Then we import/sync in our bulk timesheets from scheduling, and this looks like it deletes the previously approved timesheets entered and approved in QBO/Keypay.   Can you fix this please.

Hi alect,

Appreciate the information you've provided. Here's how to import the timesheets into payroll:

  1. Navigate to the Employees tab.
  2. Select Manage Employees on the right side, then select Import Timesheets.
  3. Select QuickBooks from the Import timesheets from dropdown field.
  4. Select Yes for the Approve timesheets dropdown field, then select Import.

If this is what you've done and the timesheets gets deleted. Please sign in using incognito window (private browser) to see if the same behavior exist.

If the issue persists, for us to better assist you, I would recommend reaching out directly to our Customer Care Team . That way, one of our support agent can further check the timesheet settings you have. They have the right tools to help check your payroll account.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions. I'm always here to assist.

Hi alect,

So far when I checked in our end, there is no reported product investigation with timesheet getting override when approving and exporting them to a pay run.

For us to better assist you with the timesheets being overridden, I would recommend contacting our Customer Care Team. That way, they can check the timesheet and pay run affected in a secure form.
Here's how:

    1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
    2. Go to the Help menu at the upper right.
    3. In the Search bar, type Contact Us.
    4. Click the Contact Us option.
    5. Choose Callback.
