30 minutes into using the new interface and not impressed.

When coding the back transactions, you now have a review button before confirming. Doubling the amount required to do the task previously. It doesnt sound like mucth but when you have hundreds, its slows things down a lot.

You can click anywhere else on the line item to review, you don't need a button too.

I have rules set up where I can, to ensure accuracy I don't use the auto-add feature. I view them before confirming, what was a one touch system now has been broken. Please revert to the original way.

Bring back dark mode, the amount of whitespace in your pages causes eye irritation and pain.

We hear you, Gary. QuickBooks Online previously offered Dark Mode and Themes through QuickBooks Labs as part of its beta program. However, QuickBooks Labs has been discontinued, and these features are no longer accessible.

As a workaround, you can adjust your computer’s display settings to improve readability:

For Windows: Open Settings, click System, then select Display to adjust brightness. To enable dark mode, click Settings, then select Personalization, and choose Colors. Next, select Dark under Choose your color. This applies a system-wide dark theme.

For Mac: Click the Apple menu, select System Settings or System Preferences (depending on your macOS version), then choose Displays to adjust brightness. To enable dark mode, go to Appearance and select Dark. This changes the system theme to dark mode, enhancing readability across apps.

I also encourage you to submit Feedback for feature suggestions for this option to our Product Development Team; they can consider incorporating it in future product updates.

Here’s how you can submit feedback:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and then select Feedback.
  2. Enter your thoughts in the description box.
  3. Once done, click Next.

Moreover, you can track updates and feature requests by visiting QuickBooks Online Feature Requests.

If you have any other questions or require further assistance, please don't hesitate to reply below.

Let me understand this correctly. You want me to change a global setting on my computer and ruin every other experience all because QBO removed a common feature that most websites have.

What sort of backward thinking is that?

Even a free browser extensions can inject the code required, but your team of devs can't work it out? Shame.

You also glossed over the main productivity issue. If there is an actual issue, you just ignore it?

I even provided an image....
