How to limit/customise access for my staff to only create Sales Invoice and not delete invoice?

Missing data can be frustrating. In QuickBooks Online, anyone with invoice permissions can create, edit, or delete them. There’s currently no way to allow create-only access.

To prevent data loss, regularly review the Audit Log to track invoice changes and deletions, noting who made them and when. Use the information there to recreate any missing invoices if needed.

Establish clear procedures for your staff, emphasizing that invoices should not be deleted without authorization. You can also require internal approval for deletions, ensuring all requests are communicated and approved outside of QuickBooks.
