I see advertised that quickbooks can link to gocardless but the fuunction is on on the quickbooks page. Any ideas?

I'm dropping by to give you some details about the availability of the GoCardless link for QuickBooks Online. 

The GoCardless link is only available in the UK version of QuickBooks Online. If you don't see the option to link it, your version may not be supported. 

Although, we can contact GoCardless support channels to see if your QuickBooks Online region is supported. We can also ask them if there's a connector for that country or region.

If linking GoCardless with your version isn't possible, there might be other similar app offers. We can browse the Apps portal here: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/app/apps/home/ (change the flag to your corresponding version). 

Alternatively, we can look for offers on Google.
