Updates to QuickBooks Online forms are applied automatically, and the forms you are currently seeing may be set to the standard form template. If you have a saved template, you can still use it and set it as the default to ensure it is used for your future transactions.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Settings in the top menu and select Custom form styles.
  2. Locate your preferred template.
  3. Click the dropdown arrow in the Action column, then select Make default. The label "(default)" will appear next to its name.

Once updated, your default template will automatically apply to every new transaction of that type.

However, if you are referring to the classic form style, please note that the option to switch back to the old layout is no longer available. You can utilize the new layout with more options to customize the form based on your business needs.

For more information about template customization, please refer to this article: Customise sales forms in QuickBooks Online.
