The transaction added through journal entry can not be found under expense module.

We want to help you with your concern about the transaction entered in QuickBooks Online (QBO). However, we need more information about the expense module you’re referring to to provide the correct resolution and to sort this out.

Also, could you tell me what accounts are affected when you enter this via Journal Entry (JE)? If you could provide some screenshots, it would greatly help.
