AIA Invoicing (Knowify vs Sage/Corecon)

I need to generate AIA Invoicing as a General Contractor.  I know that QB tends to defer to Knowify for AIA Invoicing.  

I have seen that there was an application called Corecon and it was acquired by Sage.  Is anybody using  Sage Cloud as your plug in for AIA?  Our primary user for QB is a very seasoned Sage 300 user so that is partially why I am considering this option.

I have also seen reference somewhere that you can create a spreadsheet that you populate from QB to conform to AIA invoicing.  Is anybody doing this as a solution?  Is it sufficient or did you try this and ultimately move to an out of the box solution (Knowify or Sage)?
