Can I add a second business onto my simple start without an additional fee?

You need to purchase a separate QBO subscription to manage the second business, LudwicksHouseOfViolin. As one subscription can’t support two businesses.

Each business needs separate financial records for accurate reporting and tax filing. Mixing two businesses in one subscription causes errors and limits customization. QuickBooks is designed for one business per subscription, so a second subscription is required for your second business.

One QBO account is for one company file. You may consider using the old QB Desktop with a non-subscription license to save costs.
