Can't stay signed into Community

I am having problems logging into the Community forum. Specifically, every time I leave the page I get logged out. In order to log in again, I have to go to "Settings" and delete Intuit cookies. Every time.

I've added Intuit to the trusted sites list, the browser is updated (Chrome) and it's set to accept 3rd party cookies.

I use QuickBooks Online and don't have a problem logging into that. The Community can be a very helpful forum but it's becoming very tedious to have to delete cookies every single time I want to log in.
And I really don't want to have to use it in incognito mode.

Why is this happening?

Hello there, @erin_interav! Thanks for reaching out about this login issue. I can definitely understand how frustrating it is to clear your cookies every time you want to access the Community.

You've already taken some good steps by checking your browser settings and trusted sites. The fact that deleting cookies works temporarily and you don't have this problem with QuickBooks Online tells us that something specific might be interfering with the Community's login process.

Based on what you've described, the issue is most likely related to your browser. Here are a few things to try:

  • Clear your browser's cache. In addition to cookies, a corrupted cache can also cause login issues. It's a good practice to clear both at the same time to ensure a fresh start.
  • Check your browser extensions. Sometimes, security or ad-blocking extensions can interfere with a website's cookies or scripts. Try temporarily disabling your extensions one by one, then try to log in to see if one of them is the cause.
  • Try a different browser. Using a different browser like Firefox or Microsoft Edge can help determine if the problem is unique to your Chrome installation. If it works there, we'll know it's a Chrome-specific issue.

Give these steps a try. If you're still having trouble, let us know, and we'll keep looking into it.
