cannot get my checks aligned to print correctly

my checks were printing correctly on my old computer. i've changed to a new computer and cannot get the checks to print correclty at all i've followed the steps numerous times, but they are not printing correctly. they are deluxe checks and it's a simple check, i just can't figure out for the life of me what I"m doing wrong to get this fixed. I downloaded adobe reader like it said, drug the grid like it said in printer setup. I just can't figure it out.
