Does it matter if my address on the 1099-NEC from my employer is outdated? They never updated my address and my previous address is on the document. Will that matter?

Your address won't affect your 1099 return, djshawnedwards24. However, your employer should update it and submit a corrected form to the IRS to ensure your information is accurate and receive a copy at the right location.

Your 1099s will be mailed to your registered address in QuickBooks after your employer e-filed them. We recommend reaching out to them directly to have that detail changed to correct your data.
