apologies for the typo, I’m doing this on my phone. This is supposed to report an embarrassingly incompetent reminder email bug

I used Quickbooks’ reminder feature to send an email regarding an unpaid invoice. It sent the email with the subject in all CAPS and included a (misspelled) field name instead of my company name. This ridiculous bug makes my company look completely unprofessional and I am sickened by it.

Since the photo uploader continues to time out, I will simply paste the text sent to my customer. Please fix this bug.

I know how important it is for your emails to look professional to your customers. You can update your reminder templates to fix the text and subject line right away.

Here is how to update your reminder email template:

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top and select Account and settings.
  2. Select the Sales tab.
  3. In the Reminders section, select Edit (✎).
  4. Under your active reminders, find the Subject line field and edit the text to correct the capitalization.
  5. In the Email message field, delete the broken text placeholder.
  6. Type your company name into the text to ensure it displays correctly every time.
  7. Select Save, then Done.
