Question

Export sales transaction list including date value of Status

I'm regularly analyzing our list of estimates by exporting the full list as an excel sheet. One of the basic pieces of analysis I'm doing is to calculate the age of estimates when they're approved. This requires using the date that the status was changed to Accepted.  This information is in the system already, since it shows in the sidebar popup when the individual estimate is clicked on. I've been unable to find a way to get that included in the export though, so I have to review the entire estimate list by hand, which takes hours, or ignore any approvals on all but the most recent estimates, which means my data isn't accurate.

How do I export the estimates list including the date that the current status was set?

While the ability to view the current status is unavailable when exporting estimates from the Sales transactions page, you can still identify when  estimates have been accepted by generating the Estimates by Customer report, Electrogas.

To do so, follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Navigate to the Reports menu and select Standard reports.
  2. Type in the Estimates by Customer report in the search bar.
  3. Choose the correct Report period.

You may want to display additional information aside from the transaction status. To refine your report further, consider using the advanced filters. Here's an article that can guide you: Customize Report
