Have you forgotten your PIN? If you have access to the Admin password for your QuickBooks company file, you can use this method to reset your payroll service PIN. To do so, follow the steps below:

1. Login to your company file as Admin.
2. Go to the Employees section, then choose Send Payroll Data.
3. Select Send in the Send/Receive Payroll Data window.
4. Click Forgot your Pin? in the Payroll Service Pin page.
5. Enter your QuickBooks Admin password, then select OK.
6. Please create a new PIN and confirm it.
7. Once done, choose Submit.

On the other hand, if you can't remember your password or don't have the option to update it in QuickBooks, you can follow these steps to perform it:

1. Download and fill out the Direct Deposit PIN reset form.
   
   
   
   
2. Have the form signed by either the Primary or Secondary Principal.
3. Obtain a photocopy of a government-issued ID for the principal who signed the form.
4. Submit the completed form and the photocopy of the ID to QBDT payroll support through Intuit File Exchange.
5. After you get an email from Intuit Payroll regarding your request status, contact us so we can create a new PIN for you.
