No one can seem to help me in getting my PIN reset! I have been transferred three times only to be told they cannot help me!!!! I have now wasted an hour. Super frustrated!!!
Thanks for joining the thread, DRD 27. Did you also forget your Payroll PIN? If so, I can help you reset it in QuickBooks.
If you're trying to reset the PIN for processing direct deposits, you'll need the Admin password for your company file. As this is needed when you go to reset your payroll service PIN in the Send Payroll Data window.
Also, when you create a new PIN, it needs to be 8 to 12 characters long and must have at least one letter and one number. Just a heads up, special characters aren't allowed.
Here's how to reset your PIN:
Log in to your QuickBooks Company file as Admin.
Go to Employees, then select Send Payroll Data.
In the Send/Receive Payroll Data page, click Send.
In the Payroll Service PIN window, select Forgot your PIN?
