I am using a Mac M1 with Tahoe.

I wanted to ask a question to the community, logged on to my account, but when trying to post my question, i got a ticket authentication error and was not able to post it. Subsequently i did it with MS Edge and it worked.

So why does my Safari not work any longer? I am using the community for many years via my Mac.

Hello gerdgoebel,

Thank you for connecting with the QuickBooks Community! I appreciate the screenshot; however, I believe you may have uploaded the wrong screenshot, so could you upload the error message once again? Let's see if it's a browser-related issue with Safari, since you were able to get it with MS Edge.

  1. Open a new Private browsing window in Safari by going to File, then select New Private Window or using the shortcut Command + Shift + N.
  2. This temporary window won't use your existing cookies or cache, which can sometimes cause authentication problems.
  3. Try logging into QuickBooks in the private window to see if it resolves the error.
  4. If the private window works, go back to your regular Safari window and clear your browser's cache and cookies. This will remove old or corrupted data that may be interfering with QuickBooks.

Let me know if you still get that authentication error. I will be looking forward to your response.
