Question

How do I change the time stamp shown at the bottom of the reports? I just ran a report at 3:10PM PST, but the time stamp shows 10:10PM GMTZ

Changing the time stamp shown at the bottom of your reports is currently unavailable, Erin. Allow me to shed some light on this for you.

QuickBooks uses Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) on its servers to generate the timestamp in the report footer, regardless of your company's set time zone. As a result, internal systems and report footers are hardcoded to record the time the report was generated based on GMT.

However, I encourage you to share feedback with our Product Engineers about adding an option to customize report time stamps based on your company's time preferences. Sharing how this feature would benefit your business and can help improve the program's functionality.

Here’s how you can send feedback:

  1. Go to the Gear icon, then select Feedback.
  2. Enter your thoughts in the description box.
  3. Click Next to submit your feedback.
