How do I delete a reconciliation without having my accountant do it?

QuickBooks Online doesn’t offer the option to delete a reconciliation. However, you can manually unreconcile specific transactions.

Here's how to do it:

1. In your chart of accounts, find the account with the transaction and select View register.
2. Find the transaction in the list. If it was reconciled, you’ll see an R in the checkmark ✔ column.
3. Select the transaction.
4. In the checkmark ✔ column, select the box with the R until the box is blank. 
5. Click Save.

If you need to undo an entire reconciliation in one step, you’ll need assistance from an accountant with access to the QuickBooks Online Accountant version. This feature allows accountants to undo the full reconciliation at once.
