How do I enable user interface mode and compact mode?

To assist you better, may i ask where in QuickBooks are you trying to enable the user interface?

If you're referring to switching from business view to accountant view, simply click on the Gear icon, where you’ll find the option to switch the organization.

Regarding the compact mode, if your goal is to minimize clutter or simplify the interface, QuickBooks Online (QBO) currently doesn’t offer the ability to customize the display. As an alternative, you can adjust your screen settings by zooming in or out to achieve your desired view.

Just hold down the CTRL key and scroll your mouse wheel.
