The QuickBooks Payments application is subject to eligibility requirements, credit considerations, and approval processes, Austin-love. Allow me to provide you with more information on this and suggest some alternative options as well.
As you may know, applications to accept online payments can be declined based on the type of products or services you're selling, such as firearms, marijuana, or CBD.
Industries considered high-risk merchants, such as gambling, banking, or virtual currencies may also face declines.
As a workaround, you might consider using a third-party payment application and then syncing it with QBO for easier data exchange.
Here are the steps to help you find an accredited and approved app inside QBO:
Go to the Apps menu and proceed to the Find Apps tab.
Click the drop-down list for Browse category.
Select Manage sales, then choose a category.
Once you’ve selected an app from the search results, follow the instructions to install and configure it. You may need to authorize QuickBooks to share your data with the app and to configure any sync preferences.
