How do I turn off promotional ad banners in QuickBooks Online?

This banner keeps popping up over and over on my home screen and I already have popups disabled in preferences. I have to stop my work to X out of it or keep looking at it taking up my screen space, especially on a small laptop. How can I stop this from being there? QB Enterprise 2021. Thank you.

Promotional banners and notifications in QuickBooks Online are used to surface new features and services from Intuit. You can close each one by selecting the X or No thanks button on the banner itself.

To request changes to how these banners work, including a permanent opt-out setting, you can submit feedback directly to the QuickBooks product team:

Select the Gear icon in the upper right.
Select Feedback.
Describe what you'd like to see changed, then select Next to send it.

You can also browse and vote on feature requests at feedback.qbo.intuit.com. Product feedback is reviewed by the QuickBooks development team when planning future updates.

QuickBooks use in-product pop-ups and ads to help optimize your QuickBooks experience by suggesting new features and program updates.

In the meantime, you can simply turn it off by following the steps below:

Go to the Edit menu then Preferences.
Under General, look for Turn off pop-up messages for products and services.
Remove the check mark beside it then click OK.

You can also remove the the check mark for What's New, under the Help menu. See this:

I am not able X it out unless I maximize the screen but I usually have Quickbooks only half of the screen. When I maximize the screen I can hit the X to get rid of it, but then when I put QBooks back to half my screen, the advertisement pops back up again and no X is visible. So I have to just leave it there when I am working half-screen.
