Question

How do I view the captions on photos attached to time sheets? I can see them in the Workforce app for my own time sheets, but not when using the Time web page.

When viewing time sheets through tsheets.intuit.com, it shows that there are photos attached. I can click the link to open them as a slideshow and browse through them, but it does not show the captions. In the second that it takes to load a new picture, there is text with the file name and the caption, but once the picture loads, it's gone and does not come back. I hover the cursor over the picture and no tooltip or anything pops up, the file name after I download it does not contain anything, and right clicking just brings up the standard context menu. The information is definitely there, it just seems like the page is not set up to show it.

Photo captions attached to your timesheets are only visible within the Workforce App and do not appear on the QuickBooks Time web interface. On the web page, only the file name, date, and timestamp are displayed.

As a workaround, you can add a note to the timesheet, which will remain visible on both platforms. Another option is to rename the photo's file name to include a unique identifier or the caption text itself. For example, IMG(Caption 1).jpg.
