How long does it take for QB to upgrade the Paypal app to the new Paypay Connector app? I've waited 2 months now since initiating the upgrade request.

Is that an indication that they'll ever upgrade it?

QuickBooks Online (QBO) doesn't automatically upgrade from the old PayPal app to the new PayPal connector. I'm here to guide you on how can get the latest app, racheln76.

You'll need to disconnect the old PayPal app and manually connect the new one. But before disconnecting, ensure to categorize transactions to maintain organized books and for the accuracy of financial statements. 

To disconnect, you can follow the steps below:

1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
2. Go to Apps, then the Overview tab.
3. Find the PayPal app card, select More Options, then select Settings.
4. Click Disconnect.
   
   

Once done, connect the new PayPal connector. Here's how:

1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
2. Go to Apps, then the Find apps tab.
3. In the search bar, search for PayPal Connector by QuickBooks.
4. Select Get app now.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions. When prompted, enter your PayPal account email address and password, then select Log in.
6. To authorize PayPal to send your transactions to QuickBooks, select Agree and Connect.
7. After your transactions finish syncing, select Go to App Transactions.
8. Confirm the PayPal balance account where you'll find your PayPal transactions, then select Next. Generally, this is separate from your bank account and is automatically created for you upon setup.
9. If you have historical transactions, select the date you would like to start importing from, then click Done.

Please know that you can exclude bank transactions if you're getting duplicate entries after connecting the new PayPal app connector.
