Question

I am visually impaired and to see text in QB I need to bold the text yet that feature request which has been made for several years is ignored by QB, why???

I understand the challenges you're experiencing with QuickBooks Online due to missing accessibility features, GEP. Everyone deserves tools that are inclusive and easy to use.

 

The features available in QuickBooks Online are based on factors like the volume of user requests, technological adaptability, and compatibility with business needs. Adding bold text across the entire application might require adjustments to how the software display texts. While this isn't overly complex, it could take time and resources, especially if the current design structure makes it more difficult to modify. I recommend sharing your feedback with out Product Development Team.

 

  1. Go to Settings (gear icon) in the upper-right corner.
  2. Select Feedback under PROFILE.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions, then select Next to submit feedback.

 

Until this feature is implemented, I recommend exploring third-party tools like screen magnifiers, text-to-speech software, or overlay tools to enhance text visibility or bold text outside of QuickBooks.
