The error occurs when QuickBooks is unable to locate the software-specific feature needed for creating a document for printing or emailing. To fix this issue, we can run the QuickBooks Print & PDF Repair Tool from the Tool Hub to resolve common errors.

 

To start, let's back up your company file and follow the steps below:

 

  1. Close QuickBooks, then download and install the latest version of the QuickBooks Tool Hub.
  2. Once installed, open the Tool Hub and select Program Problems.
  3. Click QuickBooks PDF & Print Repair Tool.
  4. After the repair is complete, try printing or emailing from QuickBooks Desktop again.
