In QuickBooks Online (QBO), we can void the returned 1099 and file it again with the correct address.
Here's how:
Go to the Taxes menu.
Select 1099 filings.
From the 1099 filings tab, select Void forms.

The 1099 was already accepted from the IRS. The issue is that the address is correct in the vendor file, and it was when these were entered however the address printed without the street and city. I know this because I received the form from the post office with insufficient address.

Since the IRS already accepted the form, there is no need to file an amendment. This means that you don't have to file a correction to a previous 1099. Instead, you may consider sending the form to your contractor via mail.
