To print checks in QuickBooks Online, it's best to use Adobe Acrobat. Adobe Reader is essential for printing both Standard and Voucher checks, @hamland.

Follow these steps to download it and set it as your default PDF viewer:

  1. Click + Create.
  2. Choose Print checks.
  3. Hit Print setup.
  4. Select No, continue setup.
  5. Choose the latest version of the Reader link.
  6. After installing Acrobat, return to QuickBooks and click How? to set Adobe Reader as your default PDF viewer.
  7. Go back to QuickBooks, click View preview and print sample, then select Print.
  8. Complete the on-screen instructions to print your sample check.
  9. Check the alignment of your sample against a blank check.
