Question

I keep getting emails supposedly from quickbooks that says we received negative feedback from a customer. Is this legit? It seems like spam and fishing

Suspicious emails can be part of a scheme to obtain your personal information, Powellfence.

Intuit won’t initiate unsolicited emails or calls unless you’ve requested assistance. It’s always our priority to ensure the security of your data and protect you from any fraudulent activities.

To help you identify potential phishing scams and fraud, all official Intuit emails and websites will always end with intuit.com. You can also check out our online security tips to help keep your information safe.

For now, it’s best not to engage with these spam emails and avoid clicking links or providing any personal information.

To protect yourself from these behaviors, report any suspicious emails or security concerns directly to our security team. You can submit this information to further investigate and safeguard our systems or users from potential cyber threats. Here's how:

  1. Visit the Online Security Center page.
  2. Click on Contact Us.
  3. Then, select the Report a fake email (or phishing) option.

I’ll keep an eye on this thread for any additional concerns in your account. Keep safe.
