Question

I no longer pay for QB self-employed but i need to be able to access my information from last year

I noticed QB self-employed was not categorizing my transactions or that many of them were missing from 2025 so I have stopped using it. However I paid for the entire year and need to access my information.

Hi Jennette108, has your account recently been cancelled? If so, you can still access your account through the end of your current billing period. Since you have already paid for the entire year, you will maintain access to your account and can export any data you need. Please note that QuickBooks will retain your data for one year following the cancellation.

You can follow the steps below to export your data from QuickBooks Self-Employed.

To get your bank feed transactions:

  1. Go to Transactions.
  2. Select All for Type, Account, Date, and Vehicles.
  3. Click the Export icon on the right, beside the Search transactions bar.
  4. Choose a location to store the file, then click Save.

For reports, go to Reports and select All time or Custom date from the dropdown menu on each report, then click Download.

You can also get your Tax details in the Taxes tab > Annual. Choose either Email tax details or download it by clicking the dropdown menu.

For invoices, please note that invoices must be exported manually. To do this, click the dropdown menu beside Send link and choose Export as PDF.
