I want to cancel QBO payments subscription

We understand how surprising it can be to discover a charge for a subscription you didn’t realize you had, recoveryhouse. We’ll help you cancel your QuickBooks Payments subscription to make sure you’ll not be charged for a service you won’t be using going forward.

There are two ways to close your QuickBooks Payments plan: either through the Subscriptions and billing menu in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account or by signing in to the Merchant Service Center.

Based on your description, it seems you’ve already attempted to contact our Live Support team via your QBO account without success. If you’re unable to connect with them, we recommend canceling your subscription directly through the Merchant Service Center. Here's how:

1. Sign in to the Merchant Service Center as an admin user.
2. Go to the Account tab and then select Account Profile.
3. Select Close Account. If you don't see this option, make sure you're signed in as the account admin. If you still have problems, reach out to our support team.
4. In the Reason for closing dropdown, select a reason,  and add any comments you'd like to share.
5. When you're ready, select Submit.

After we process your request, you’ll receive a confirmation email within one business day notifying you that your QuickBooks Payments account has been successfully closed.
