Hi there, Marcela. There are two ways to undo a previous reconciliation.

In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can manually undo reconciled transactions one at a time through the Chart of Accounts

Here’s how:

  1. Click the Gear icon and select Chart of Accounts.
  2. Find the reconciled checking account you want to update.
  3. Click View Register next to the account.
  4. Locate the transactions to be unreconciled.
  5. In the Checkmark column, update the status by clicking the field and changing it from R (Reconciled) to blank.
  6. Click Save to apply the changes.

On the other hand, if you’re working with an accountant, have them undo your entire reconciliation at once. This way, you won't have to manually edit each entry.
