Hi there, Becca. I'm here to ensure you can view and use all the incoming payment options in your invoices.
The ability to accept online payments in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is possible with the help of QuickBooks Payments. To utilize this feature, let's ensure your Payments account is connected.
Go to the Gear icon and then choose Account and settings.
Click Payments.
On the Already use Merchant Services or the GoPayment app? section, select Connect your payments account.
Select the QuickBooks Payment account you want to connect to. Then, choose Connect.
Review the account info and make sure it's accurate. If everything looks good, hit Connect.
Once done, sign out and sign back into QuickBooks Online.
If your Payments account is connected but the options still don't show, I suggest logging in to your QBO company via an incognito window. It'll help us determine if the issue is cache-related. The regular browser you often use can store excessive cache that affects the program's performance and functionality.
By using incognito, it'll check the exact cause since this doesn't store any browsing history and cache. Use these keyboard shortcuts based on the browser you're using:
Safari: Command + Shift + N
Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N
Once logged in, check if the online payment options show. If so, clear the browser's cache. Doing so improves system performance, fixes program problems, and frees storage space. Using other supported browsers also helps us verify if this is a browser-specific problem.
