Anyone else seeing an absurd pricing change from 2022 ($499) to 2023 ($799)?  I wish I could raise my fees like that.

You can buy a new license at a discounted price from selected partners/reseller if needed. QBD 2023 Premier for one user = $650.

I see where you're coming from, @rjlane. As a customer myself, I know the importance of funds when running a business, especially in today's situation.

Let me share a few insights about Intuit's pricing change for QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) ProAdvisor Premier Software Bundle so you'll be aware of the latest updates and improvements of the product.

Yes, you're correct that the new and updated price for ProAdvisor Premier Software Bundle is $799 per year. While news about price increases is never easy to hear, they are often necessary to deliver the products, services, and support you and your clients need today and in the future.

We also continue to improve our offerings for you and provide new QuickBooks ProAdvisor benefits. On top of that, we also launch personalized ProAdvisor training paths that will enable you and your team to increase expertise and productivity.

Also, you may want to check out one of our Help pages and article as your reference to learn what features are included in the QBDT 2023 release and how you can use them to benefit your business:

Please keep me posted in the comments if you have other concerns about the QuickBooks product and pricing. I'm always ready to help. Take care, and I wish you continued success, @rjlane.

The reply gives an option to Cheer (like) or Reply.  There's no way I can like a 60% increase.  That's usury and unfortunately there is no product that comes close to QB Desktop.  Even QBO is a distant solution.

So I will continue after 16 years to use QB and look forward to my retirement.  Expenses increases to a core product needed for my business will make it sooner rather than later.

And surprises like this will make it difficult to recommend the product.  "Yes, QB Desktop is great, but they will raise the price unexpectedly and unreasonably."

Hello Intuit, I'd like to say first of all, I love you guys and I am wearing my QB sweatshirt to prove it. But....I was completely surprised to see my email receipt for $799.00 today. It's was under $400.00 a year ago so what happene? Did somebody get a raise? good; Not me. I immediately called support to see if there was a product number change or if there were some new perks but no-thing. You would think since I don't use the your complicated payroll there would be a break. 90% of the time I'm the one that solves the problems when calling support. They're learning from me.  Again, I love you guys but dont have time to waste with the dinosaur technology increase. I pay over $300 a month for the online services for my clients so is that going to increase also? Can somebody let me know if I need to do something different besides the PAP Premiere software bundle? I'm expanding my business this year and need to make money not increase expenses. Feel free to mail me any free products or apparel so I can contiune promote you and my business.

Thank in advance -S

If you are working solo on a desktop (PC or Mac) to manage your book and only need basic features, you should explore a free program. You can use the program for as long as you like, use all the features and enter as much data as required. There are no time limits, no usage limits, no ads (at this time). This program is quite popular in Asia and Europe.

Yes, I just received my billing and this is absurd!  What are we getting for this?  A copy of QBs desktop?  I hardly ever call for support and never use any of the so-called client pricing discounts!  What are they thinking?

Plus now they seem to be outsourcing support and if you have errors in your file(s) they charge $1,800 for 24 months! Small bookkeeping businesses cannot afford this! There are other payroll and bookkeeping softwares out there who don't charge such exorbant fees.

Outsourcing support? Which phone number did you call?

My PAP bundle was $2,399 in 2024.  This year it's $3,063 which is a $664 increase or more ~ 22%..  Last year the fee for processing client direct deposits was increased to $5/ea.  We all know process deposits costs pennies.  Already $1.75 was too much.  The find a ProAdvisor site has yielded 0 in the last year except spam.  This is not sustainable.  I can only raise my fees so much.  Intuit has become very small business unfriendly.
