Invoices with small, light, unreadable font

Hello,

I need help making my invoices look decent.  I use the Airy template and added my logo.  The light shaded areas of the subtotals, etc are so light they are hardly readable.  Also, anywhere in the QB invoice editor, the largest font is 12pt.   I have several older customers that can hardly read my invoices.  So embarrassing.  The invoices I created years ago in Excel were 100x better!

Why is the invoice customization tool so basic that we cannot go bigger than 12pt or make features bold if we want to?  Is this not 2025??

Making your invoices presentable and easy to read is essential for effective communication with your clients, KHesebeck. Currently, QuickBooks Online (QBO) limits the font size to 12pt and restricts bolding options in certain templates.

We highly value your feedback on this matter, and I encourage you to share your thoughts and recommendations with our product development team. Your input is crucial in shaping future improvements of QuickBooks.

To submit feedback:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter your product suggestions in the designated box.
  4. Click Next to submit.

To improve the readability of your invoices, consider switching to alternative invoice templates that offer better contrast than the Airy template, or customize the template colors for enhanced visibility. Here's how:

  1. Go to Custom form styles.
  2. Select the template you want to edit or the one you're currently using.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Select Change up the template under the Design section.
  5. Choose your preferred template.
  6. Click Try other colors and select a color that enhances contrast.
  7. When finished, click Done to save your changes.
