Do you need to convert your data from Quicken Desktop to QB Online US version?

Which Quicken year version do you run?

You can export your Quicken categories to a CSV file and import it into QuickBooks Online (QBO), An.

Once your file is ready, set up Banking Rules in QBO to automatically categorize transactions by Payee and Category, keeping your account organized.

Here's how to import your data:

  1. In QuickBooks Online, click the Gear icon and select Import Data.
  2. Choose the type of list you want to import and tick Import.
  3. Select Browse, choose your .csv file, and hit Next.
  4. Map your data by selecting the corresponding details in the dropdown menus, then click Next.
  5. Review the entries, then hit Import to complete the process.

Since you're unfamiliar with setting up a Chart of Accounts (COA) in QBO, the QuickBooks Live Assisted team can guide you. They can provide insights to enhance account understanding and streamline business management.
