Milage tracking

QuickBooks mileage tracking needs always location access to automatically record trips, even in the background, MyTemporaryUserID.

The always location permission is essential for QuickBooks to auto-track mileage, using GPS to detect trips automatically. When the app is only active, tracking will only occur while the app is open, which could result in missed trips.

Additionally, QuickBooks needs access to your physical activity data to differentiate between vehicle trips and other activities, such as walking or cycling. This ensures accurate mileage tracking.

If you’ve already granted the necessary permissions but the start button on the mileage screen isn't working, a few common issues could be the cause:

1. There may be a glitch in the app. Restarting the app can often resolve temporary software problems.
