Question

No 1099. I was sent an email with link that the company I performed work for uses QuickBooks. I created an account and the 1099 is not there.

First, I would like to verify if you have created a free QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account that was through the link that was sent to you. 

 

However, if you’re using a regular QBSE or QuickBooks Online (QBO) account. I recommend requesting your client to send an email again.

 

Furthermore, I recommend contacting our support team if you’re using a free QBSE. They have secure access to your account and can look into the situation to determine the best course of action.

To contact our support:

 

  1. Go to your QBSE account, then tap the button and select Ask QB Assitant. 
  2. Enter “talk to a human” and click on Continue.
  3. Select which way you want to connect with us.
    • Have us call you - Get a call from a support expert.
    • Chat with us - Start a conversation with a support expert.
    • Ask the Community - You can submit your question to the QuickBooks community or look at replies from experts and other customers.
