Question

None of my transactions are showing for May to Sept 2025. Why? Banks and accounts are all connected.

Hi there, crystal.

Missing transactions between May and September 2025 are typically related to the bank connection and the download period within QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Most banks only allow QuickBooks to download the last 90 days of transactions when a connection is first established or reconnected. If the connection was refreshed or relinked earlier transactions may not have downloaded automatically.

We can manually import them as a workaround:

  1.  Sign in to your bank’s website and download the transactions from May to September 2025 in CSV format.
  2.  Go to the Transactions tab. Select the Add transaction dropdown and proceed to Import transaction.
  3.  Find the bank account with missing transactions and choose Import older transactions.
  4.  Download your transactions as a CSV file from your bank. Use Browse to select the saved CSV file, then Upload it.
  5.  Review the imported transactions to ensure they are correct, then proceed by selecting Continue.
  6.  Once complete, a confirmation message will indicate that your transactions have been successfully imported.

Make sure that you only download or upload transactions that haven’t already been added to avoid duplicates.

For more detailed guidance, you can review the article: Add older transactions to QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Feel free to leave a comment if you have other questions or need help with the upload process.
