Possible fix for Performance issue related to opening lots of files from Attach folder - FYI

Hello,

 

FYI

After a quickbooks update last Friday, we had a few users have a performance issue.
After updating to 2024 and running the updates, we had a few workstations the issue and some workstations that didn't have the issue.

I just ran a Quickbooks repair on the workstations with the issue and it seemed to fix the issue.
The problem workstation is no longer trying to open up dozens of files from the attach\txn folder.
