QB Pro Plus 2022 Desktop

I don't not use QB for anything online, its a glorified check book that has estimation capabilities. I only still use QB because that is what I have had for almost 20 years. Will it still work to simply input checks, deposits, reconcile, estimates or anything that doesn't require me to be online?

Yes, you can still input checks, and deposits, create estimates, and reconcile accounts in your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) 2022 version for recording purposes, OKC2025.

Since your use does not rely on online features like payroll, online banking, or credit card processing, you can still use the software locally for basic bookkeeping tasks.

However, it's important to note that the QBDT 2022 version will no longer receive the latest critical security updates, which might expose you to security vulnerabilities and compatibility issues with new operating systems.

Access to Live Technical Support will also be cut off after the discontinuation. You can learn more by reading this article: QuickBooks Desktop service discontinuation policy.

If you wish to upgrade to a higher version of QBDT, you can visit this article as your guide: Upgrade QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus, Premier Plus, or Enterprise.

I am locked out of my QB after not paying the subscription fee. How do I access my QB now?

You have to pay the renewal fee and switch to an older version as I mentioned earlier.

@OKC2025

You can switch to old QB Desktop with a non subscriptipn license if required.
