I have created a custom report and want to view it as a chart. I have taken the online tutorial for viewing a report as a chart but do not see Select Chart View option in the report. Do I need special permissions to see this option. Thanks

You don't need special permission to see the Chart View option when you're an admin user of your QuickBooks Online (QBO) Advance account, Momc1.

Please note that the Chart View is available for most financial reports in QuickBooks. We recognize that adding this feature to the Year-to-Date Budget vs. Actuals report enhances the visualization and analysis of your financial data.

Therefore, we encourage you to send your Feedback. Your insights on managing reports help us continuously improve and meet your business needs more effectively. To do so, kindly follow the steps below:

  1. In your QBO account, go to the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Feedback under Profile.
  3. Share your product improvement ideas.
  4. Click Next to submit.

In the meantime, we recommend exporting your Year-to-Date Budget vs Actuals report in Excel, which offers various charting tools.

We always value your input in this forum. Feel free to share any QBO suggestions or questions in this thread.
