We have found a replacement for Shipping Manager...ShipRush works just fine and is inexpensive.

We looked at dozens of alternatives to the broken/malfunctional current Shipping Manager, and found that ShipRush actually MADE the original (now defunct) functional Shipping Manager.  ShipRush works automatically with both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online using the "Speedy" plan which is quite inexpensive.

Just a tip that I hope helps everyone going through this challenge.
