What happened to the PDF Customer Invoice Import Tab?

The missing PDF Customer Invoice Import tab is due to recent updates rolling out the new Modern View invoice layout, which temporarily disrupted certain sidebar functionalities. However, you can still upload your customer's PDF invoice by clicking the Intuit Assist icon on the left side of your screen while creating the invoice.

Here is how to do it:

1. Go to + Create and select Invoice.
2. Look for the Intuit Assist icon on the left sidebar of your Invoice tab (it is a subtle blue icon).
3. Click the icon to open the upload options.
4. Select Files to upload your PDF file.

If you are looking to bulk-import customer invoices natively without using the sidebar tab, QuickBooks currently requires a structured spreadsheet format (CSV or Excel) rather than a direct PDF upload.

Here is how to do it:

1. Click the Gear icon in the top right.
2. Select Import Data.
3. Choose Invoices from the list.
4. Follow the prompts to upload your spreadsheet and click Import.
