Question

When I cancel my QBO subscription, it says I will have access to my data for one year after. Does that mean my accountant can still run reports needed for taxes?

Hi DrRdvm, thank you for reaching out here in the Community.

Yes, your accountant can also have a year of read-only access to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.

After canceling your QBO account, you will still retain read-only access for a year. During this period, you can run and export reports from your account, and your accountant will have the same privileges as you.

Please note that the reports generated will only include transactions up to the date of your cancellation. Additionally, modifications or corrections to transactions will not be possible since your access during this timeframe is limited to read-only privileges.

If you have any additional questions or need further clarification, feel free to reply here.

@DrRdvm

You can convert your data to QB Desktop and you can use the trial version to access your historical data for good.
