When QBO was updated my invoices lost their descriptions on items sold.

When QBO was updated invoices already in the system no longer show line item descriptions. I followed the instructions in QBO to correct the issue and it did not work. The estimates still have the descriptions. What can be done to save ALOT of work inputting the descriptions again.

Could you clarify where the descriptions are missing? Are they blank when editing the invoice directly in QuickBooks, or do they only disappear when you print, preview, or email it? Knowing this helps us pinpoint the exact cause. Also, may I know what instructions you have followed?

 

Since you mentioned estimates are okay, your invoice data is likely intact. If you haven't tried it yet, try opening QuickBooks in an incognito window or using a different browser to see if a cache issue is causing the problem.
