I can share some insights regarding QuickBooks deposits customer payments into your bank account, Shawn.
When utilizing QuickBooks Payments for credit, debit, or ACH bank transfers within QuickBooks, it's important to understand that the timing of deposits varies based on the specific product and payment method. Also, please know that standard deposits are conducted daily throughout the week, except Sundays, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day, whileinstant deposits are available without restrictions.
If customer payments are processed before 3 PM PT, these will be deposited into your bank account on the following business day. However, payments processed after 3 PM PT will be deposited within two business days.
On the other hand, if you're new to QuickBooks Payments, your ACH payments may experience a slight delay during the initial month. Rest assured that you'll receive an email notification once your account is fully set up, confirming that the payments will be processed at the usual speed.
@91502shawn-gmail Based on many complaints here, it seems Intuit will keep your money for an indeterminate amount of time, which they can't really explain clearly, until they feel good and ready to give it to you.
But, rest assured, it is for your safety (somehow), even though no other merchant service I know of does this sort of thing.
