Why are my transactions not automatically updating in the Stripe Connector?

The inital import after setting up the connector worked beautifully. But no transactions have been imported since.

Hi there, admin432. Transactions may stop from automatically updating in the Stripe Connector if connections are not properly configured in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

To verify if Stripe Connector is properly connected. 

 

  1. Navigate to the Apps menu in QBO and select My Apps to review its connection status.
  2. Alternatively, you can check under the My Integration section in your QBO account to confirm if the connector is connected.
     

Aside from that, you can manually click the Update button to trigger the synchronization process between Stripe and QBO in cases where automatic updates fail. Please note that QuickBooks relies on the data provided by Stripe for its functionality. 

 

However, if the issue continues, I recommend reaching out to the Stripe Support Team to verify whether the problem originates from Stripe. Their team can securely review your account details and provide further assistance.

I am experiencing the same issue. Initial integration worked great but no continued synching occurs. The advice above mentions: "Aside from that, you can manually click the Update button to trigger the synchronization process between Stripe and QBO in cases where automatic updates fail."

However, I cannot find the referenced "Update" button anywhere.

Please note that once a transaction is fully processed through Stripe, it typically syncs to QuickBooks Online (QBO) and appears in the For Review tab within 2 hours. While there is no "Update" button to manually refresh the sync, QBO continuously retrieves updates from your Stripe account throughout the day.

      

However, if the transactions are still not syncing, I recommend reaching out to our specialized Live Support team for Stripe connector concerns. They have access to tools and resources to investigate the issue in real time and help identify and resolve any underlying issues.


Here's how to reach them:
   

  1. Hover your cursor over the All Apps menu.  
  2. From the Accounting tab, click Integration Transactions.
  3. Select the Stripe connector tile.
  4. In the lower-right corner, click Chat.
  5. Fill in the necessary fields, then click Start Chat.
