Thank you for bringing this to our attention and sharing your experience, moliwo. I’m here to help you troubleshoot and resolve this issue.
Since QuickBooks Checking is suddenly missing from your mobile app, I suggest signing out of the QuickBooks mobile app and then signing back in. This simple step can refresh the system and resolve minor glitches.
If it's still missing after logging back in, I recommend refreshing your app's data to remove any clogged or outdated information and ensure the app runs smoothly.
Here's how:
Go to Settings and select General.
Choose iPhone Storage and locate the QuickBooks Online app.
Tap Offload App to free up storage without deleting your app's data and documents.
If refreshing the data doesn’t resolve the issue, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
Here's how:
Delete the QuickBooks app from your device.
Go to the App Store to download and reinstall the latest version.
Log back into your account with your credentials.
A fresh installation can help resolve performance issues by clearing corrupted files or errors and ensuring the app functions as expected.
If the issue persists, I recommend accessing your QuickBooks Online account through a web browser as an alternative. You can simply go to https://quickbooks.intuit.com and log in to check if QuickBooks Checking and other features appear correctly online.
Don't hesitate to reply to this post if you still have concerns related to QuickBooks. We're here to help.
I’ve confirmed that it is simply missing. I’ve signed out and back in; uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Still no sign of the Checking option. I believe that it’s because of recent UI changes made by the developers.
While you've already gone through troubleshooting steps like reinstalling the app and logging in and out, I recommend reaching out to our Live Support team through a web browser. The team can securely review your account details and further investigate, including any app specific performance issues you're experiencing.
To contact them, here's how:
Navigate to the (?) Help button located in the top-right corner of your QuickBooks Online (QBO).
In the Search bar, enter Contact us.
Scroll down and select Contact Us button, then follow the prompts.
Choose your preferred method of communication to reach out to them.
I’ve had this same issue where the QB Checking Account is completely gone from the app. I come here and 3 or 4 different employees give different answers ranging from, “offload the app” to “uninstall it” to call customer service” to “the app doesn’t support this feature.”
Then one comment from a user at the end of this thread says “I found QB checking in the lending tab on the app.” I just checked and it’s there. Even though when you search for it in the search bar, it’s nowhere to be found.
Please make it sense guys. 4 employees gave out completely wrong information for a solve that was just going to a different section of the app. This is insane.
